Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1408 is to be housed in a modified animal containment unit at Site-??, specifically a reinforced canine kennel outfitted with standard bedding and SCP-1408-1. The kennel is to remain secured at all times when SCP-1408 is not undergoing approved testing.

Interaction with SCP-1408 requires personnel equipped with a handheld training clicker device. SCP-1408 has demonstrated high responsiveness to auditory reinforcement, allowing personnel to guide them voluntarily back into containment when necessary.

Under no circumstances are depictions, costumes, or entities possessing visibly furry paws to be brought within SCP-1408's line of sight. Exposure to this visual trigger has consistently resulted in SCP-1408 breaking containment and exhibiting heightened levels of determination and unpredictability.

In the event of a containment breach, staff are advised to present the clicker device and utilize auditory reinforcement commands to redirect SCP-1408 back into their kennel.

SCP-1408

SCP-1408

Description: SCP-1408 is a humanoid entity of indeterminate origin discovered by Foundation personnel inside a cardboard box in [REDACTED]. SCP-1408 was found curled around SCP-1408-1 (a shark plush toy), which they have since displayed consistent attachment to.

Although SCP-1408 demonstrates normal human-like perception, they frequently disregard external stimuli and remain unresponsive unless directly interacted with. Initial observation suggested a passive, docile nature, leading to their preliminary classification as Safe. SCP-1408 was left under minimal supervision following recovery.

SCP-1408-1 designates a plush toy resembling a shark (IKEA product line "Blåhaj") discovered alongside SCP-1408 during initial recovery. Physical analysis shows no anomalous properties independent of SCP-1408. SCP-1408 demonstrates persistent attachment to SCP-1408-1, often holding or resting with it when in containment. During breaches, presentation of SCP-1408-1 has proven to be the most effective method of pacification and recontainment. Removal of SCP-1408-1 from their presence is strongly discouraged outside of controlled testing conditions.

SCP-1408-1

SCP-1408-1

On ??/??/20??, during a routine test involving a Class-D subject equipped with a mobile application featuring an lycanthropic humanoid creature, SCP-1408 visually identified the digital representation of a anthropomorphic limb. Upon exposure to this stimulus, SCP-1408 became highly erratic, breaching containment with uncharacteristic force. During the breach, SCP-1408 was responsable of the death of a Class-D subject until security personnel managed to contain them through use of auditory reinforcement tools and the presentation of SCP-1408-1. When questioned regarding the attack of the Class-D subject, SCP-1408 provided only the verbal response, "silly >..<", and refused further elaboration.

Following this event (Incident 1408-A), SCP-1408 was reclassified as Euclid. Standard containment protocols now include strict prohibition of imagery or entities with visibly furry or anthropomorphic paws within SCP-1408's line of sight.
